Finally sent in our aliyah application! Don't have a set date yet, but we know we want to be out of the USA by 12/25/2013. So setting the countdown ticker for then. Since that is 214 days from today, 5/5/13, thought we could blog about the 214 reasons we have for making aliyah! Enjoy.
(Okay the main reason is b/c it is our home, but thought this would be fun.)

Reasons 205, 204, 203: One day Yom Tov!
50% less food to buy
50% less meals to cook
50% less dishes to clean
It is gonna take getting used to that is for sure. L'shana Haba B'Yerushalayim!
This is one of the BEST things about aliyah. You get used to it really quickly and then you never want to go back to 2 days.
